General Logistics Systems d.o.o. - GLS d.o.o. (hereinafter: GLS Slovenia) is a branch of General Logistics Systems B.V., Amsterdam.
GLS Slovenia provides reliable and high-quality parcel services as well as express deliveries and value-added logistics services.
Personal data
Personal data includes information about the personal or actual circumstances of an identified or identifiable individual. They cover, for example, information such as name, address, telephone number or e-mail address.
Data that cannot be linked to a specific or identifiable individual, such as e.g. statistics are not considered personal data.

A specific or identifiable individual who visits or uses our website.
Applicable personal data protection legislation and commitment to data confidentiality
GLS Slovenia manages personal data in accordance with the applicable rules on personal data management, in particular taking into account the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation, hereinafter: GDPR) and national legislation in the field of personal data protection and sectoral legislation relevant to the operations of GLS Slovenia.

GLS strives to protect personal data from loss or misuse through technical and organizational security measures.
Personal data is only processed in systems that are protected by appropriate security measures.
GLS Slovenia will adjust security measures and measures for the protection of personal data accordingly, insofar as this is necessary due to technological progress.

GLS Slovenia respects the fundamental rights and freedom of data subjects. The GDPR extends the rights to the privacy of the data subject. Under that Regulation, you have the right to:
• be informed of the processing of your personal data and have access to your personal data being processed (right to be informed and right of access under Article 15 of the GDPR),
• achieve the correction inaccurate personal data (right to rectification under Article 16 of the GDPR),
• restrict processing (Right to restriction of processing under Article 18 of the GDPR),
• ensure that your personal data is deleted (right to erasure under Article 17 of the GDPR),
• receive your personal data that you have provided to us (Right to data portability under Article 20 of the GDPR),
• to object to the processing of personal data based on legitimate interests or the performance of tasks in the public interest for reasons related to your specific situation (Right to object in accordance with Article 21 of the GDPR).
You can exercise an individual right to the extent that depends on the legal basis on the basis of which we process your personal data.

If consent has been requested for the processing of your personal data, we kindly inform you that you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time in the future, without prejudice to the lawfulness of the data processing carried out until the withdrawal;

Collection, processing and use of personal data

Each time a user accesses the GLS website, the data is stored in a log file. The following special data is temporarily stored:
– IP address of the computer sending the request,
– domain name,
– date and time of access,
– HTTP response code,
– pages visited,
– operating system and version,
– browser and version,
– screen resolution.

The use of the GLS Slovenia website has an open and a closed part. The closed part is required for filling out contracts between GLS Slovenia and its partners. Access is only possible with a username and password.
The open part offers the user, among other things, an e-mail contact form, the "Track and Trace" parcel tracking service and the GLS parcel shop search engine. We need the data you enter in a query via an e-mail form, such as name, street, zip code, city, etc., in order to process your query. Your personal data will not be sent, sold or otherwise transferred to third parties.
(4)Log file data shall be analysed anonymously for statistical purposes. Statistical reports are used to assess the use of GLS websites. In particular, the order in which the pages are visited and the path between the pages are shown. This should show GLS Slovenia how it can further improve the usability of the website.
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (hereinafter: Google). Google Analytics uses "cookies" that are text files stored on your computer which allow you to analyse how you use the website. Sending a newsletter
Until the revocation of consent, GLS Slovenia send newsletters to those customers who have previously agreed to receive newsletters to the e-mail address they provided. The newsletter database contains the name, e-mail address and date of consent or withdrawal of consent.
